The Vancouver office of NW Staffing Resources takes pride in our daily efforts to decrease our carbon footprint on our natural resources. To reduce waste NW Staffing Resources:
- Purchased dishes, glassware, and silverware for our kitchen to use instead of paper plates and plastic silverware.
- Eliminated single use plastic water bottles.
- Automatically print double-sided.
- Moved from paper applications to electronic. With 20-50 applications taken weekly, with each application being 5+ pages, this was an impressive decrease in paper usage!
- Offer electronic time cards to the majority of temporary employees and email invoices.
- Shut off all lights and computers at the end of the day.
